Fall in Rittenhouse Square Park| Philadelphia Child Photographer

The more I look back on my fall sessions, the more I begin to miss it. Today I look back on a fantastic child session I did with a returning client. Her beautiful son reminds me so much of my son; spirited, lively, and wild. One thing I’ve learned to appreciate being a mom to boys is that you never have a boring day. Every day is a new adventure (filled with a lot of mess, let me tell you!).

I love how imaginative boys are. They can turn anything into a toy and run with it. My own will find amusement in a DVD case and pretend it’s something to use with the rest of his toys. It reminds me so much of myself at that age where I would use common everyday items and turn it into a story. That is what I miss most about my childhood: imagination.

Now my imagination spent recreating the imaginations of others. My favorite part about lifestyle is letting children be as they are. I don’t like to pose them too much except for the few portraits that I know some folk like to have for their walls. The true beauty of photography is children being children. We took a trip over to Rittenhouse Square and let him do him. It was so much fun. The colors were vibrant, the day was clear, and it was just a beautiful Sunday morning in the park for this little boy with all the attention over him.

I hope to have more fun sessions like this one in the future. In fact, I need to take my child out and capture some pictures before they become too big!
