I'm excited to have you here! By now you already have your venue picked out and the whole theme for what you have in mind. Now comes the most important part—the photographer. The one who will tell the story from start to finish.

I believe in capturing people true to themselves without the dramatic or stiff poses. Someone who is a lover of movement, laughter, and genuine interaction between couples, friends, and loved ones. Someone who is quietly snapping away your joys and tears all while being a helping hand to get the memorable shots. Someone who is a little bit geeky, a little bit of an introvert, but an all around fun artist who works well with likeminded individuals!

You want to feel comfortable and work with someone you can connect with. I'm the photographer for the nerdy, the reserved, the quiet, and the ones who just don't do pictures very often (hint: me).

My people—you have found your photographer!

Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Wedding Experience

I'm the artist behind SGW Photography—the home for my love of photography turned into a full-time profession. I'm ecstatic that you're here to consider me for potentially capturing your wedding!

I wrote this site with the hope that I can speak to you directly through my words and my work since, as an introvert, words can fail me in person. This way, you have a better idea about me and if I'm the photographer for you. My whole purpose is creating stories through imagery and I'd love to be able to work with you in doing just that.

"Sabrina was easy to work with. She made as feel comfortable in front of the camera and was patient with our wedding party, getting everyone together for photos. It was fun to look at the photos she captured afterwards especially the candid moments that I didn't remember."

Kind Words

Sabrina photographed our engagement photos in Philadelphia then our wedding in Jamaica, it was great to have that consistency with our images and to have her photograph our wedding day so beautifully(especially during covid). She is very detailed and loves what she does and that shows in the beautiful images she captures!

destination wedding

After photographing so many weddings over the years, I have found that I'm not the perfect fit for every couple. That’s why this process begins with a conversation.

We’ll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, answer any questions you might have  and figure out if we’re the best fit for each other. Don't worry, if it's not me, I am happy to help find you a photographer that fits you better!

Step One

You did it! We decided to make it official and now you're ready to book! One thing I always say is that it is never too early to book! Once we confirm that we're officially working together, I send over a custom online booking proposal so you can review the package, sign the contract, and pay a deposit of $1000 to hold the date. The remaining balance due before the day of the wedding.

Now that you're officially booked, the next step is a fun one...

Step Two

I am a huge fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.

Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. I have found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. Plus, these sessions are amazing ice breakers and kind of a 'trial run' experience of what working with me will be like.

Step Three

I check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else I should know about your big day. This is to create a custom timeline tailored to capture every part of your day.

This list ensures your wedding receives the full coverage of editorial-ready photographs that look like they came straight out of a magazine! A photography-friendly timeline ensures a beautifully curated vision of your big day.

04: wedding prep

Step Four

It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. You'll be fully prepared for what to do and have a full idea of how I like to capture the wedding day. Whether I'm guiding you or simply letting you be as you are, your photos will always showcase you being in your most purest element—yourself.

05: wedding Day

Step Five

A fully finished gallery is delivered to your email within 6-8 weeks. Every single photo is curated and retouched for polished results. I take pride in being able to say I do all my own editing using the latest software and enhancements—I'm a one woman art machine. Because of this, I allow myself a window frame where I can edit with the utmost attention to detail.

The relationship doesn't end after delivering your photographs. I want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids (yes, even the furry kind!), I would love to document your growing family.

Step Six

Full day wedding coverage includes a second photographer, fine art album, and a private online gallery to share, download, and order prints! For details and questions please contact me to chat!

begins at $4500

One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. You can either have your album included in the collection or choose to purchase it separately.

These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors. These aren’t the same albums your parents wedding photos came in. They’re modern, lay perfectly flat and look incredible on coffee tables.

Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revision.

It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how I work. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits. That's why I've found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time through me.

Engagement sessions also allow you to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you (and even include pets!) While they’re great for save-the-dates, you can do your session anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.

Engagement Sessions

Sweet! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a $1000  deposit. The booking process is done all online to make it easier for you! The remaining balance will be due 1 week before the wedding.

We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?

Galleries typically include anywhere between 400 and 600 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully-edited high resolution to share with friends and family. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media or make gift prints for friends.

How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?

Travel fees are added for any wedding outside of a 50 mile radius from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fees can also vary depending on location (ex. New York City is considered 'local'), so please ask for more details.
