The first wedding of the year ended up being one of the last after COVID-19. Before social distancing and masks, life was normal. Couples were still getting married and everyone was in perfectly good health. For Laura and Clark, this was the biggest and one of the most important moments in their life. After an amazing Engagement session in Center City Philadelphia, the pair was able to go into the wedding with not a worry in the world except their happiness. It was such an honor to be part of their day as they danced amongst family and friends with laughter, warm embraces, and beautiful scenery.
I loved working at the Stotesbury Mansion as it was much different from the usual venue. A beautiful fireplace decorated with flowers and candles everywhere gave the ceremony a very romantic and classic feel. Despite it being indoors, I came prepared with all my flashes and made sure to keep the venue as well lit as possible. When the wedding was all said and done, I had no idea that it would end up being one of my last for the year. COVID-19 struck hard and fast shortly after and thus kept me indoors for well over a year. But at least I can look back at this time before the pandemic and remember how good we had it. Stay safe out there and remember to wear your masks!
